  • 5 star review  Fantastic peaceful and interesting farm stay. We camped here for 4 nights and we loved it ! Kids loved all the activites from the free clay play to the animals, there are interesting things dotted all around the gardens and plenty for kids to explore. The swimming pool was a welcomed addition. Cafe serves really nice coffee and ice cream. We didnt have wood fired pizza as we bought plenty of food but we wish we had of tried them as many people said they were delicious. Very worth the 10km drive out there. Such a beautiful spot to sit and relax. We will be back!

5 star review  One of our favorite places to visit, particularly when we need to unwind. The combination of the beautiful natural environment (sandstone gorges, cliff lines with many lookouts and undisturbed bush land with many well established bush walking trails), the incredible eclectic mix of accommodation buildings hand built using local materials & various alternative building techniques (and filled with artisan workmanship of every sort imaginable), the pottery, the farm experience and the wonderful food (the Big Barkala breakfast and the woodfired pizzas being particular standouts for me, but having sampled it all now we can definitely recommend it all!) is like nothing we have found anywhere else. Congratulations on what you have achieved out there in the middle of the Pillga : your vision, dedication and hard work inspire us every visit
